TikTok has grown to 600 million monthly active users worldwide and has become an important platform for marketers wanting to reach a wider audience. Realtors can capitalize on social media networks to effectively reach and engage their target audience. Here are a few critical strategies for using TikTok as a realtor’s marketing tool.

1. Research and Target

They should understand which platforms their target audience is actively engaging on, which topics they are interested in, and what type of tone they are responding to. Realtors may also benefit from leveraging influencer marketing. They have an opportunity to partner with local influencers or industry experts to produce content related to real estate. They should also prioritize creating original and authentic content. As TikTokers are looking for genuine and original content, realtors should utilize this opportunity to showcase their expertise, insight, and value.

2. Realtors should also set weekly goals to measure their performance

This helps identify areas for improvement and ultimately helps build their brand on the platform. Additionally, realtors should use TikTok’s hashtag strategies to make their content more directly available to their intended users. This can be done by incorporating relevant and popular hashtags that are related to their posts and even setting up live sessions with potential homebuyers.

3. Realtors can also utilize TikTok’s suite of creative tools to provide an interactive way of showcasing their services

Video templates, stickers, face filters, text effects and music can be used to make content more engaging to the users. They should also analyze the data they get from the platform to create more personalized content, ultimately improving user engagement and increasing their chances of generating leads.
