Take Better Home Listing Photos

By: Jerika P –  i-Lead Realty Social Media Manager

Having appealing and enjoyable photographs might encourage more buyers to look at your listings! How can a home seller make their listing images the best on the market? These lists can help you accomplish that.

1. Set aside enough time for the shoot

Always allocate enough time to shooting your listing images to get a quality result. Remember to check when the sun will set, you don’t want the sky to be drastically different throughout your photos.

2. Neutralize and declutter before you start shooting

Bold accent wall colors, an excessive amount of furnishings, or hung photographs may distract from potential buyers’ views and ruin your photos.

3. Stage your home

Rearranging your furniture so buyers can see your home’s possibilities can make staging your house more accessible, especially if you’re still residing there.

4. Pay attention to the smallest detail

There is nothing wrong with focusing on the slightest details, such as wrinkled bed sheets or disorganized bathrooms. Always keep an eye out for little things that can turn off buyers.

5. Shooting virtual tours the same day as your listing photos

To make your listing more appealing to customers, uniformity is essential. Take your virtual tours on the same day and, if possible, with the same lighting as you take your listing images.

6. Include pictures that reflect the style that your listing represents.

Include pictures of the neighborhood so prospective buyers can get a sense of what it’s like to live the community.
