First, what is a Real Estate Agent?
Real estates by investopedia’s definition is: “A real estate agent is a licensed professional who arranges real estate transactions, putting buyers and sellers together and acting as their representative in negotiations. Real estate agents usually are compensated completely by a commission—a percentage of the property’s purchase price—so their income depends on their ability to close a deal. In almost every state a real estate agent must work for or be affiliated with a real estate broker (an individual or a brokerage firm), who is more experienced and licensed to a higher degree.”

So what are the advantages of working with a real estate agent?
Real estate agents can get a bad rap. Often times they get painted as commission hungry and careless. But this is becoming less and less the case as the agents that aren’t skilled and genuine depart the industry as the agents that do care succeed. Due to the stereotype of real estate agents we wanted to write this blog to help show you the advantages of working with not just a realtor, but the right relator.
1. They filter out buyers
It can be difficult sometimes to pause your life to present your home perfectly for showing; that’s why real estate agents help you to classify buyers, whether they’re just looking, serious buyers or curious neighbors.
2. They are really well connected
A realtor always works with a large number of people, including contractors, buyers, sellers, and other realtors. Your agent will always know someone to contact if you want to improve the home you’re going to sell.
3. You will save time and energy
Selling your home will always take a significant amount of time, not to mention, a lot of paperwork. So, if you already have a lot on your plate from your daily activities, a real estate agent may relieve you of the burden of selling your home.
4. Ability to negotiate
Due to their expertise in negotiations, real estate agents will provide you the best selling price. They are quite knowledgeable about the current market, so they will know how to fairly price your home. Not to mention, they are trained negotiators.
5. New Contact
After working with a real estate professional, your name will appear on their contact list. You might work with them once more if you have future plans to sell or buy a home, or you might recommend them if you know someone who would. They will always be there with you in the long run.
We hope this helps you decide on finding a real estate professional to assist you with your real estate needs. If you need one talk to us today at [email protected] and we will be happy to help you. Or find your right agent by scrolling through ours here
