Use Google My Business and Optimize It!

By: Jerika P –  i-Lead Realty Social Media Manager

Google My Business is a free tool that allows realtors to manage their online presence on Google, including search results and Google Maps. Here are some ways you can optimize your Google My Business page as a realtor:

1. Claim and verify your listing

First and foremost, claim your business listing on Google My Business and verify it. This will help Google know that your business is legitimate and give you more control over your business information.

2. Provide accurate and detailed information

Ensure that your business name, address, and phone number (NAP) are accurate and consistent across all online directories. Also, provide detailed information about your business, including your business hours, website, and services.

3. Choose the right categories

Select the most relevant categories for your business. For example, if you specialize in residential real estate, select “Real estate agency” or “Real estate broker” as your primary category.

4. Add photos and videos

Add high-quality photos and videos of your properties, office, and team. This will help potential clients better understand your business and what you have to offer.

Remember that one of the best marketing tools you can use as a realtor is Google My Business, which you should use and optimize as the majority of customers turn to Google first when looking for a trustworthy realtor.
