Prepare your Home for Winter!

By: Jerika P –  i-Lead Realty Social Media Manager

Winter can be an unpredictable time of the year and those who live in areas where the weather can quickly become severe know the true meaning of the season. That’s why it’s important to take the necessary measures to prepare your home for the upcoming season. Here are a few tips to help you get started:

1. Check every window, door, and other areas where cold air can seep in and make your home uncomfortable.

2. Inspect the roof and gutters for any signs of damage.

3. Prepare the HVAC system for use. Make sure your heater is in prime shape, and schedule an appointment for a tune-up.

4. If you have a fireplace, have it cleaned and inspected before winter to keep temperatures consistent.

5. Winter-proof your plumbing by putting insulation around exposed pipes and checking hose bibs, faucets, and pipes for leaks or drips.

By taking the time to winterize your home, you can ensure that it will be comfortable and safe throughout the season. Make sure to follow the above tips, and your home will be ready for whatever the winter may bring. ❄️?
