Documents You Need For Offers

What documents should a seller prepare when the offers are made?

Below is the list of paperwork you should take note of:

1. Purchase offer and counteroffer forms

A purchase offer is the first documented step in purchasing a home. It lays out the agreement between buyers and sellers, which may change as the transaction progresses through the stages. The price of the property, as well as its identification and specifications, may be included here.

2. Final purchase and sale agreement

The buyer’s and seller’s agents or attorneys will begin drafting a contract that includes the agreed-upon price, terms, earnest money deposit, contingencies, and closing date. Both parties must agree and sign the contract to proceed with the house sale.

3. Contingency removal form

A contingency is a clause in a real estate contract that must be met before the deal closes. However, if both parties agree to remove any contingencies, this form must be completed in order for the agreement to be documented.
